The Dallas Cowboys do not have as big of a need at wide receiver as the team did prior to trading for Brandin Cooks. Cooks gives the Cowboys a legitimate and proven target to pair with CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup.

Still, that aggressive move has not stopped the Cowboys from expressing interest in pass catchers for the 2023 NFL Draft. In fact, Dallas has met with several wideouts leading up to the draft.

Among the notable names that the Cowboys will meet with prior to making their selection in the first-round is Ohio State standout Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Smith-Njigba is widely considered to be among the top receivers in the draft and is certainly worth Dallas taking at No. 26 overall.

JSN is ranked as the No. 18 overall prospect by The Athletic draft analyst Dane Brugler. Brugler believes that the Ohio State product can start right out of the gate as a rookie.
