Analysts, fans, and basically anyone with an opinion will give it. The NFC South is an interesting beast for this season.
The Saints are seemingly the most talented team with a quarterback that has legitimate experience as a starter in the NFL.
The three other teams have more questions right now.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will endure life post-Tom Brady. The Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers are trying to find their future quarterback. Both could be rookies.
On defense, all four teams have a lot of talent.
The Panthers over-performed on that side of the ball a year ago, but they are really well-coached. Their young talent has begun to step up, too.
The Falcons made major upgrades on the defensive side of their roster. The Bucs kept most of their defensive roster together, and their front seven should be solid again.
Former NFL cornerback Adam Jones appeared on The Pat McAfee Show, and he embarrassed himself a bit by blindly disrespecting the Saints defense from last season.
The Saints had the best secondary in the division a season ago. That was even with major injury issues.
Marshon Lattimore missed much of the season, and Paulson Adebo and Bradley Roby were both banged up as well. Marcus Maye dealt with an injury at safety, too.
Regardless, their back end was arguably the best part of their team last year, and the numbers back that up.
New Orleans was the fifth-ranked team in the entire NFL last season when it came to total yards allowed per game (314.8).
In every facet, the Saints were better than Jones gave them credit for. There's potential for them to be even better this season if they stay healthier.
