I would imagine that most folks can say the same.
But I found something that many people might have in common with Tennessee Vols defensive lineman Omari Thomas.
Thomas, a senior from Memphis, told reporters this week after Tennessee's penultimate spring practice that his approach to his diet involves eating healthy during the week before going crazy on the weekends.
"I try my best to eat good throughout the week," said Thomas on Thursday. "So that way if on the weekend I eat some fried chicken or something bad [it balances out]."
"I really just focus a lot on grilled chicken, broccoli, rice, throughout the week, and then I might go crazy on the weekend," added a grinning Thomas.
I feel you, Omari. I go crazy on the weekends, too. I've been told those calories don't count, but I'm starting to wonder if that's actually the case. Either way, Thomas has it figured out and it's working quite well for the key Vols defender.
