Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker went to the team and said he wants to be traded, or offered a new contract. Given the state of the Arizona Cardinals, it is likely that he wants to walk. If Howie Roseman can pull this off and trade for Budda Baker, the Eagles will have one of the most complete and well-rounded defenses in the NFL.

With the loss of C.J. Gardner-Johnson, bringing in another savvy veteran safety in Budda Baker would be the ideal offseason move for the Philadelphia Eagles. In his 6 years in the NFL; Baker has started in 83/93 games, amassed 650 total tackles, 7 interceptions, 6 forced fumbles, and 7.5 sacks. Baker is a wizard in zone coverage but finds himself all over the field making big time plays.
The Eagles are in need of another veteran piece in this secondary and Baker still has plenty of juice left in the tank. Already posing as the favorite in the NFC, if the Eagles bring in Budda Baker there is no argument about who is the top team in the NFC let alone the entire NFL. If anyone can pull this off, it's Howie Roseman.
