The Buffalo Bills are beginning their voluntary offseason workouts. While free agency is still underway and the draft is rapidly approaching, this is yet another step toward the season's beginning.

The NFL Player's Association highlighted what is included during these voluntary workouts, explained as "Phase One."

This phase consists of the first two weeks of their offseason program. Activities are limited to strength and conditioning and rehabilitation only. Furthermore, only strength and conditioning coaches, who have no other responsibility to the organization, are allowed on the field. This means no Sean McDermott, Ken Dorsey, or other coaches outside the team's strength and conditioning coaches: Eric Ciano, Will Greenberg, Hal Luther, Nick Lacy, and Jason Oszvart.

Lastly, the NFLPA described a few other intricacies surrounding what can and cannot happen during this "phase" of the offseason.

Directly from their website, the NFLPA outlined, "90-minute max on the field. Clubs can only specify 2 hours for players to be at the facility. Players choose the other 2 hours for weights, etc.

The organization further highlighted what exactly constitutes a "dead ball." The organization explained, "QBs can throw to receivers with no coverage. Kickers and Punters can kick, but players cannot field the ball and no snappers or holders can be involved. Long Snappers can snap into a net. Defensive players may not catch balls at all regardless of who is throwing them."

All of that to say, football is back. The Buffalo Bills' social media team documented the moment the team arrived at the facility. Not surprisingly, Josh Allen quickly went viral with his response to seeing the camera.

Bills Mafia, who waited years for a franchise quarterback, is still soaking up every last moment Allen provides the fanbase. A simple smile and a thumbs up to the camera were enough to elicit a strong response on social media.

The diehard fanbase is in midseason form after just the first day of voluntary workouts. While Buffalo gears up for a hopeful Super Bowl run, all eyes will be on the team and one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

We have a feeling Allen will be going viral plenty this season with more highlight reel plays. For now, a simple smile and a thumbs-up will do.
