Interior offensive line has been as potential target for the New York Giants in this year's NFL Draft.

In the first round, only a couple of players are seemingly that high on teams' boards right now. One of them is Wisconsin center Joe Tippmann. Tippmann is a stout run blocker with the flexibility to play any interior offensive line position.

NFL Media Analyst Charles Davis has very high expectations for Tippmann.

Now, I am not putting Tippmann in the same category as six-time Pro Bowler Jason Kelce, but I will say that the former Badger has some Kelce-like elements to his game, just in a taller package. One of his greatest gifts is the ability to bend. He can pull and hit his targets on the move. Travis Frederick, a center prospect from Wisconsin back in 2013, surprised by going in Round 1 a decade ago. Tippmann could do the same thing in 2023.

He's a big believer in his game, clearly.

Tippmann makes plenty of sense for New York, depending on the board when they come on the clock. If their preferred wide receivers or cornerbacks aren't there, IOL would be smart to attack with that pick.

Tippmann is a scheme fit and is expected to go somewhere between the late first round and middle of the second round.

A comparison to two of the best centers of this generation in Jason Kelce and Travis Frederick is quite impressive.
