With two picks in the top 32, the Pittsburgh Steelers can select more than one first-round prospect if the NFL Draft falls their way.
At 17th overall, one of their top-10 players may still be on the board if a run on quarterbacks occur.
The club also owns the first pick of the second round, and there's almost always a player who slips through the cracks after Thursday night.
But which direction is the team likely to go with their first pick? We may've just been given does the team really like in the
Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette name-dropped three high-profile Draft prospects that Steelers fans need to have on their radar.
"CB Kelee Ringo. T Darnell Wright. DL Bryan Bresee. I can tell you they love two of those guys." – Gerry Dulac of Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Dulac also projected the Steelers would select Bresee with the 17th pick as of now.
Bresee, a defensive lineman out of Clemson, is currently ranked 23rd overall on the consensus big board as the second-highest defensive tackle behind Georgia's Jalen Carter.
In three seasons with the Tigers, Bresee netted 9.5 sacks and 28 tackles. His best season was arguably his first, recording 26 pressures in 255 pass-rushing snaps as 19-year old true freshman.
At the NFL Scouting Combine, Bresse weighed in at 6-5, 298 pounds and ran a 4.86 40-yard dash, an elite time for a player his size.
Ringo and Wright have also been linked to the Steelers throughout the Draft process, but Bresee makes a lot of sense at the 17th overall pick. It's entirely possible one of Ringo or Wright falls all the way to 32nd overall, which would be a home run start for the Steelers.
