April Fools' jokes are common on April 1, even though most fans know to be on the lookout.
On Saturday, former Tennessee Vols offensive lineman Darnell Wright decided to break out an April Fools' joke.
The former Vol tweeted that he's returning to Tennessee for another year of eligibility thanks to a new NCAA rule.

Of course, there is no new NCAA rule. And Wright obviously won't be back at UT in 2023. Just a fun joke by a great former Vol.
And by the way, even if Wright did have another year of eligibility, I doubt anyone would advise him to return to Tennessee for another season. The West Virginia native is expected to be a first-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft. Some analysts think he could go in the top 15. He'd be a fool to return to the college game for another year — he would have absolutely nothing to gain.
