The Jacksonville Jaguars have a long way to go until the 2023 NFL regular season and that's great news considering they still have major weaknesses to address, particularly at cornerback (see below).
That being said, their biggest shot at building the roster is in the books. The Jags made twelve draft picks last week and signed several undrafted free agents as well.
So, without further ado, let's check out the Jaguars' post-draft roster. Note: Single asterisks (*) represent 2023 draft picks and double asterisks (**) represent undrafted free agents.
Quarterback
- C. J. Beathard
- Trevor Lawrence
- Nathan Rourke
The skinny: Trevor Lawrence is the reason why the Jaguars are in the best shape they've ever been. That's all that matters here.
Running back
- Tank Bigsby*
- Snoop Conner
- Travis Ettiene
- JaMycal Hasty
- D'Ernest Johnson
- Qadree Ollison
The skinny: The Jaguars aren't going to hand D'Ernest Johnson the backup job that easily. Third-round running back Tank Bigsby was brought in to make an impact on offense and he'll likely be Ettiene's primary running mate.
Wide receiver
- Jamal Agnew
- Kevin Austin Jr.
- Jaray Jenkins**
- Tim Jones
- Zay Jones
- Christian Kirk
- Oliver Martin**
- Jaylon Moore
- Kendric Pryor
- Calvin Ridley
- Parker Washington*
- Seth Williams
The skinny: Trevor Lawrence likely smiles whenever he thinks of the above list. The Jaguars have really done a very good job surrounding him with good, good pass-catchers. Rookie Parker Washington will face an uphill battle fighting for a role in a loaded room.
Tight end
- Evan Engram
- Luke Farrell
- Gerrit Prince
- Leonard Taylor**
- Brenton Strange*
The skinny: Adding Brenton Strange to the tight end room could've been a genius move by the Jaguars. Everyone knows Doug Pederson loves to have good tight ends and now he has a guy who can stay in line and block while Engram does his thing as more of a receiver-type TE. Versatility in this position will offer interesting match-up advantages.
Offensive line
- Ben Bartch
- Chandler Brewer
- Coy Cronk
- Luke Fortner
- Blake Hance
- Anton Harrison*
- Cooper Hodges*
- Samuel Jackson**
- Walker Little
- Cam Robinson
- Brandon Scherff
- Tyler Shatley
- Cole Van Lanen
- Josh Wells
- Darryl Williams
The skinny: Robinson's upcoming suspension makes things a bit muddy here for the Jaguars. But adding OT Anton Harrison in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft sets up a very interesting scenario for the team right here. Walker Little played well at left tackle last year. Where does each line up and what's Robinson's role when he comes back?

Defensive line
- Jayson Ademilola**
- Michael Dogbe
- Folorunso Fatukasi
- Adam Gotsis
- DaVon Hamilton
- Tyler Lacy*
- Jeremiah Ledbetter
- Henry Mondeaux
- Roy Robertson-Harris
- Nick Thurman
- Raymond Vohasek*
The skinny: Robertson-Harris and DaVon Hamilton both got significant contract extensions prior to the NFL Draft. Tyler Lacy was a big fourth-round addition that could compete for a significant role on the team.
Outside linebacker
- Josh Allen
- K'Lavon Chaisson
- De'Shaan Dixon
- D.J. Coleman**
- Derek Parish*
- Jordan Smith
- Travon Walker
The skinny: Perhaps one of the biggest remaining needs for the Jaguars. But betting on Travon Walker was always a long-term play for the Jaguars. The former No. 1 overall pick could be about to take a huge leap in Year 2.
Inside linebacker
- Yasir Abdullah*
- Elijah Cooks**
- Dequan Jackson**
- Caleb Johnson
- Devin Lloyd
- Ventrell Miller*
- Chad Muma
- Foyesade Oluokun
- Shaquille Quarterman
The skinny: The Jaguars were already strong, albeit young, at linebacker but added two more players in the NFL Draft: Florida's Ventrell Miller and Louisville's Yasir Abdullah. The latter could also help rushing the passer in certain situations.
Cornerback
- Christian Braswell*
- Montaric Brown
- Tevaughn Campbell
- Tyson Campbell
- Chris Claybrooks
- Erick Hallett II*
- Kaleb Hayes**
- Tre Herndon
- Gregory Junior
- Divaad Wilson**
- Darious Williams
The skinny: One of the thinnest position groups on the Jaguars, for sure and it remains a major question mark for the team. The Jags finished last year as the 30th passing defense in the league per DVOA and didn't add much at cornerback. Every added rookie is either a late-round draft pick or UDFA. Tyson Campbell, however, is one of the fastest risers in the NFL.

Safety
- Andre Cisco
- Rayshawn Jenkins
- Antonio Johnson*
- Ayo Oyelola (International player)
- Daniel Thomas
- Deionte Thompson
- Andrew Wingard
The skinny: While the starting job probably belongs to Andre Cisco and Rayshawn Jenkins for now, chances are fifth-round pick Antonio Johnson is going to give them a run for their money. He could be considered the biggest steal of the Jaguars' draft class.
Special teams
- Logan Cooke P
- Ross Matiscik LS
- James McCourt K
- Riley Patterson K
The skinny: Punter Logan Cooke might be the team's most underrated player as he makes a huge impact with his nail-in-the-coffin punts just about every week. Patterson found enough success in 2022 to stick around as the starter.
