Will Levis has been a quarterback linked to the Indianapolis Colts at different points in the process leading up to the 2023 NFL Draft. Which makes sense, given that Levis features a big frame, strong arm, and athletic ability.

On paper, the Kentucky signal caller is a good fit for Colts head coach Shane Steichen. Levis would be able to operate the scheme well given his abilities to beat defenses with his arm and his legs.

However, the latest news could ruin the Colts' hopes of landing Levis. That's because a post on Reddit has led to the odds of the Kentucky quarterback going No. 1 overall skyrocketing over night.

A Reddit user made waves on social media after suggesting that Levis is telling people close to him that he will be drafted by the Carolina Panthers. Such a scenario has seemed far-fetched with Bryce Young expected to be the pick,

"Will Levis is currently +4000 to be to be the first overall pick," Reddit user SaleAgreeable2834 posted. "Well, ladies and gentlemen, he's telling friends and family (that) Carolina will in fact take him on Thursday. You're welcome."

Since the time of that post, the odds have drastically changed ahead of the NFL Draft. Levis now has the second best odds to be the first pick on Thursday night – mainly because of the post.

It's difficult to fathom that a random post on Reddit could have such a big impact on the NFL Draft and the betting market. However, that seems to be the case as the draft nears based on the line movement.

At the end of the day, though, the Indianapolis Colts will be fine when they eventually turn in their pick to the podium. A random Reddit poster won't have any influence. But, it's still a funny and bizarre bit of news during draft week.
