The Texans have had a very interesting draft so far. After selecting a new franchise quarterback and making a bold trade up to get Will Anderson Jr., general manager Nick Caserio is still making moves.

Before the draft resumed on Saturday, the Texans already made several moves. Initially, the team traded No. 104 and No. 203 to the Raiders for No. 109 and No. 174.

But the team was not done there. After this trade, Caserio traded No. 105 to the Eagles for a 2024 third-rounder.

So the Texans initially had No. 104 and No. 105, and now have No. 109 and an extra third-rounder in 2024.

Caserio has shown a willingness to move all around the draft board, while maintaining a load of picks in next year's draft. The two Saturday trades balance out the rest of the draft for the Texans. The team now has one fourth-rounder, one fifth-rounder, two sixth-rounders, and one seventh-rounder.

QB, EDGE, C, and WR have already been added thus far. At No. 109, the team could possibly look to add another piece on defense. The secondary could use depth, and another pass-rusher or two could be beneficial. It is also possible that Caserio will field more trade calls depending on the board.
