The New York Giants may have addressed a critical need on night one of the draft, trading up to select Maryland cornerback Deonte Banks, but the roster is far from complete.

As it stands on Friday morning, the Giants are preparing to make two selections in tonight's draft, with a second-round pick at 57th overall, and a third-round pick at 89th overall.

So before the festivities start up again, let's dive into two players that New York should strongly consider when the clock strikes 7:00 P.M Friday night.

Round 2-57th Overall: Cedric Tillman, WR, Tennessee

Here is a synopsis of my evaluation of Tillman:

Tillman is a ball-winner at every level of the field with impressive hands and physicality. He’s not the most fluid or functional of athletes, but he can get on top of corners quicker than you think and has an incredible catch radius.

Grade:

6.32 (Plus NFL Starter, mid-2nd round)

Comp:

Courtland Sutton

At 64 on the consensus board, it's reasonable that Tillman is still there at pick 57, but given the late run on pass catchers last night, New York may have to pull some strings and move up to select him.

Round 3-89th overall: Luke Wypler, C, Ohio State

Here is a nugget from The Athletic's Dane Brugler on Wypler:

A two-year starter at Ohio State, Wypler was entrenched at center in head coach Ryan Day’s zone/RPO-based offense. A high school offensive tackle, he made the move inside, where he was the starting center for all 25 of C.J. Stroud’s college starts. (Stroud: “Luke is probably one of the smartest people I have ever been around … the smartest O-lineman I’ve ever met in my life.”) Wypler is a quick, efficient mover with outstanding football IQ and communication skills

New York desperately needs to upgrade the interior of the offensive line, and with Wypler slated at 82 on the consensus board, he is a must-add should he be in striking range of the Giants on night two.
