Four wide receivers in a row were selected between No. 20 and No. 24 (the No. 21 pick was vacated by the Miami Dolphins). Hyatt, however, wasn't one of those wide receivers.
Fortunatey for Hyatt, he shouldn't have to wait long to hear his name called on night two of the draft. Hyatt is one of the top remaining wide receivers and he should be drafted before the end of the second round.
There are several teams with picks in the second round that would make a lot of sense for Hyatt.
Here are the three most likely teams that could draft Hyatt on Friday night.
Carolina Panthers (No 39 overall): The Panthers definitely need to add some talent to their wide receiver room this offseason after trading DJ Moore to the Chicago Bears for the No. 1 overall pick. Speaking of the No. 1 pick, I'm sure Bryce Young, the former Alabama quarterback that Carolina selected with the first overall pick, would love to have a vertical threat in the passing game. Young saw Hyatt's brilliance up close last season as Hyatt caught six passes for 207 yards and five touchdowns in Tennessee's win against Alabama.
Los Angeles Chargers (No. 54 overall): The Chargers are another team that could stand to add a wide receiver to the roster. And specifically, they could use a vertical threat. Hyatt was a popular mock draft choice for the Chargers in the first round over the last couple of months. He'd be a good fit with quarterback Justin Herbert's big arm.
Buffalo Bills (No. 59 overall): I doubt Hyatt falls this far, but you never know how things will play out in the draft. We've seen plenty of players slide that weren't expected to slide. If Hyatt makes it this far, I can't see the Bills passing on him. Buffalo needs to add another playmaker to their offense to help out Josh Allen. Hyatt could be the deep threat the Bills are missing.
