Bengals: Ja'Marr Chase had the realest Mic'd Up moment vs. Chiefs

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is a real one.
While it won't take away the pain of the Bengals' playoff loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, Chase gave fans one of the best moments we've ever seen from a Mic'd Up player in the NFL.
But before we get to it, we have to set the table.
Heading into the battle for a trip to Super Bowl LVII, both the Bengals and the Chiefs had plenty to say about what's becoming one of the best rivalries in the league.
There was a wild range of quotes and soundbites. We heard it all.
From the Mayor of Cincinnati calling for a paternity test to ensure Joe Burrow wasn't Patrick Mahomes' father (yes, that happened) to Chiefs linebacker Willie Gay Jr. claiming "nothing" impressed him about the Bengals offense.
That last one was particularly offensive to the Bengals, who finished the season as one of the best offenses in the entire NFL. They remembered during the game, too.
At least Ja'Marr Chase did. How do we know?
Well, when Gay Jr. approached him to ask for his jersey (a common request in the NFL), the Bengals wide receiver wasn't having it.
"Hell no! Hell No!" was his reply.
And honestly, why would it be any different? Unless the Chiefs linebacker was straight-up trolling, I can't grasp how he gathered the audacity to ask for the jersey of the offense he was disrespecting just a few days earlier.
Listen, I love trash-talking in sports. But that's a bold, bold move from Gay Jr. It's cool to see Chase defend his Bengals uniform while providing us with one of the best Mic'd Up moments we've seen.
Of course, Bengals fans would trade it for a trip to Arizona in a heartbeat. But one thing is clear, the Bengals will be right back next season.
