Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin seemingly always has the Tennessee Vols on his mind.
Kiffin, who was the head coach at Tennessee in 2009 before leaving for USC, regularly sends tweets about the Vols.
On Friday, Kiffin tweeted a photo of an Orange and White plane sitting on a tarmac along with the caption "Josh here?" — an obvious reference to Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel.
Here's the tweet:
That plane, as you can imagine, was not carrying Heupel.
Instead, the plane is registered to McDowell Pharmaceutical LLC. And, oddly enough, it left from Kansas City, MO for Oxford, MS shortly after Kiffin tweeted that photo.
Kiffin clearly still has a fondness for Tennessee. But after the Vols' loss to Ole Miss in 2021, and the questionable officiating/questionable injuries involved in the game, I'm guessing most Tennessee fans won't be reciprocating those feelings.
