The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been counted out far too many times, and is still being counted out by many even though he is in the Super Bowl.

In just his second year as a full-time starter, and third season in the league, Hurts has made wild progressions, and taken his team to the Super Bowl, dominating any team that got in the way. Not only that, but he has overcome so many things.

He went from being a starter at Alabama to being the backup to transferring to Oklahoma, to getting drafted and people not wanting him on their team, to now an MVP candidate.

It isn't often you have a guy accomplish and overcome so much, yet the hate is still there.

But, sometimes people come to their senses, and on Monday during opening night, a reporter apologized to Jalen Hurts face to face.

“I gotta admit, I didn’t think the Eagles would get to the Super Bowl with you as their quarterback,” the reporter said.

Hurts followed up with, "You're not the only one."

“So I just wanted to tell you man to man… I’m sorry,” the reporter continued.

How did Hurts respond after? In the best way possible. He sounded completely unfazed by the hate.

"Cool."

It's so hard to dislike the man. He is cool. He is the guy, and he is and can be the guy that wins Philly another Super Bowl. He is completely unfazed by what one reporter had to say, even if it was kind of harsh.
