Chiefs: Travis Kelce broke one more record and nearly broke another after win vs. Raiders

Travis Kelce is the best tight end in the league, and no one can tell me otherwise. The Kansas City Chiefs are fortunate to have two of the best to ever do it, and fortunate to have the best on their team right now, who broke one record, and almost another.
Just when everyone thought the Chiefs were going to decline because they lost Tyreek Hill, Kelce steps up even more.
We all know Kelce is the best tight end in the league, but the fact that he accomplished yet another record, and almost a second one is insane. It seems like every game he is doing something that has never been done.
On Saturday, the Chiefs tight end broke his own record for receptions by a tight end in a season for the Chiefs. His 110 receptions were five more than the previous record held by him in 2020.
Kelce was also one reception shy of breaking the franchise record of receptions in a season held by Tyreek Hill.
There were a lot of critics out there this offseason that thought maybe Kelce would slow down without Hill too. Which, would make sense for any other tight end, but Kelce is different, for a few reasons.
You just can't cover Kelce, no one can, and you can't game plan against him either. He showed that even without an All-Pro receiver in Hill, he is still elite, and there is no slowing down.
Sure, Hill took some pressure off of Kelce when he was here, but that didn't seem to matter this season. The decline was supposed to happen already because of his age and losing Hill, but as we have seen, he isn't slowing down anytime soon.
