Eagles fans may have all seen it by now, but what the San Francisco 49ers fans did this weekend was disrespectful.

The last time and only time the two teams played in the playoffs was in the 1996 Wild Card Game that saw the 49ers win at home 14-0, so, it's not like there is a ton of history to brew a rivalry.

These two teams are set to play in an NFC Championship on Sunday, where the winner has a chance at a Super Bowl win, obviously.

So, the tensions will be high as expected, but what some 49ers fans are doing in Philly is just not right.

There is a video surfacing of 49ers fans climbing up on the Rocky statue, singing "Brocky" in reference to their quarterback Brock Purdy while dancing around the statue. Some Eagles fans are just standing there looking confused.

I take that as disrespectful, but some may not.

LeSean McCoy, one of the greatest Eagles' running backs of all time, said recently on Fox Sports, that the last time a team and their fans touched the Rocky statue, they got blown out. That was Minnesota, who lost to Philly 24-7.

So, I think it is only right to say that the 49ers may have something coming for them on Sunday.
