During the NFC Championship game, you may have forgotten during celebrating your Philadelphia Eagles heading back to the Super Bowl, but something major happened, and it didn't look good.
The Eagles had a problem on their hands, as one of their best players got hurt. It wasn't looking good, and it certainly wasn't looking like he would be available for the Super Bowl.
But, on Tuesday we received some information that made Eagles nation feel a hell of a lot better about it.
The Eagles have the best offensive line in football, I don't think anyone would argue against that. But, Landon Dickerson, the Eagles' starting left guard, is now hurt. He suffered a hyperextension injury to his right elbow during the game.
But on Tuesday after an MRI, we were informed he would indeed be playing. Per Jeff McLane, he will be wearing a brace on his shoulder during practice and in the game.
The Chiefs finished second in sacks on the year behind the Eagles and have one of if not the best defensive players in the league in Chris Jones. He had two sacks last week against a beat-up Bengals offensive line.
This will definitely be something to monitor.
