The Tennessee Titans added another name to its list of potential candidates for the vacant offensive coordinator position.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that the Titans have requested permission to interview Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Justin Outten.

Following the firing of Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett, Outten was tasked with play calling duties in Denver’s final two games of the 2022 season. In those two games, the Broncos fell to the Chiefs by the score of 27-24, but turned around to beat the Chargers, scoring a season-high 31 points in the Week 18 win.

Outten has just one year of experience as an offensive coordinator, but previously served as the tight ends coach for the Green Bay Packers from 2019-2021. Prior to his stint in Green Bay, Outten was an offensive assistant with the Atlanta Falcons, primarily helping out with the offensive line.

The Titans have been aggressive in its search for an offensive coordinator, having already requested interviews with Chiefs OC Eric Bienemy, Chiefs QB coach Matt Nagy, and Falcons QB coach Charles London.
