ESPN recently made several predictions for non-playoff teams and their offseason prediction for the Pittsburgh Steelers will likely make fans happy.
Aaron Schatz thinks the Steelers will fire offensive coordinator Matt Canada and hire a "young assistant coach" to move the offense in a "modern direction.
The Steelers will move on from Canada and bring in a young assistant coach who can move the offense in a more modern direction. The offense is better than standard stats indicate. It was middle-of-the-road in DVOA despite being 24th in points per game (17.7). And the Steelers were in the bottom half of the NFL in the use of motion and play-action this season.

It appears the Steelers are still trying to decide whether or not they're going to keep Canada. He's still employed as of Monday afternoon, but that could change at any time.
Some players and former players have voiced support for Canada recently, including running back Najee Harris and Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger. There's also been some speculation that Pittsburgh could keep Canada another year so quarterback Kenny Pickett, who was a rookie this past season, won't be forced to learn a new system this offseason.
It feels like this could go either way. Schatz, however, is calling his shot by predicting that Canada gets fired.
We should know by the end of the week at the latest if his prediction will come true.
