It is no secret that referees are not idolized by the New Orleans Saints or their fans.

In reality, they usually get pretty frustrated with the officials. They have some ammunition for their anger – all things considered, though.

The NFC Championship referee debacle from 2018 will always live on in NFL history. Saints fans will never forget it.

The Saints have been one of the most penalized teams in the NFL over the past few seasons as well.

Regardless, it is something that the players and coaches can only control so much. This weekend, Pro Bowl festivities are the highlight of the NFL chatter. Instead of a traditional all-star type of football game, the league has implemented a handful of activities.

They are certainly more entertaining than the normal game. At the helm, the NFL hosts a dodgeball tournament as well as a flag football game.

The dodgeball game from Thursday was a fun experience, but there was a questionable call against a Saints player.

Demario Davis had seemed to put the nail in the coffin for a victory for his team by hitting Giants running back Saquon Barkley with a ball for the final elimination.

Alas, the referee said that the ball hit Barkley in the face, and that is against the rules. Therefore, Davis was disqualified, and his team lost that game.

It was quite unlucky once again for a Saints player against officiating.
