One of the Tennessee Vols' top NCAA transfer portal targets is Oregon transfer wide receiver Dont'e Thornton.
Thornton is a big play threat who visited Tennessee over the weekend. On Saturday night, he revealed that he's going to announce his transfer destination on Monday (January 9) at 1:00 PM ET.
There seems to be a lot of momentum for the Vols to land Thornton.
In fact, the talented wide receiver sent a tweet after his visit that indicated he enjoyed Knoxville.
Thornton, who has elite size at 6-foot-5 and runs the 40-yard dash in the 4.4 range, could be an absolute superstar in Josh Heupel's offense at Tennessee.
The Vols are battling Arkansas, Auburn, and Miami for Thornton. Tennessee appears to have the advantage here, but things can change at a moment's notice when it comes to the transfer portal and recruiting.
