The Tennessee Vols are certain to drop in the new AP Top 25 poll when it's released on Monday thanks to back-to-back heartbreaking losses this week.

But how far will they drop?

Tennessee lost by one point to both Vanderbilt and Missouri this week on buzzer-beating three-pointers to unranked teams.

The final moments of both games were eerily similar. Mental lapses and missed free throws prevented the Vols from putting either game away and they paid for it.

CBS Sports college basketball analyst Garry Parrish revealed his new top 25 on Sunday and he has Tennessee falling pretty far — but not quite as far as I expected him to drop the Vols.

Parrish has Tennessee at No. 15.

From CBS Sports:

Tennessee allowed Missouri to shoot 52.6% from the field in Saturday's 86-85 loss to the Tigers. The Vols' next game is Wednesday against Alabama.

It hasn't been an ideal week for Tennessee. In fact, it's been downright bad.

But Vols head coach Rick Barnes put it best on Saturday night. All of Tennessee's goals this season are still possible.

"I have been doing it long enough to know you hit some spells like this and as quickly as we got in it, we can get out of it," said Barnes after the loss to Missouri. "I think that once we do get out of it, which I know we will, we will get going trending in the right direction to be where we want to be where it is all said and done."

Tennessee will get a chance to get back on track and make a statement on Wednesday night against a top-five team in Alabama.
