The Kansas City Chiefs are heading to their third Super Bowl appearance in the last four years and just went to their fifth straight AFC Championship. When you read sentences like that, you would probably assume that this is one of the more experienced, veteran-savvy teams in the league.

Sure, they have experience in places, but they are still one of the younger teams in the league. Per Spotrac.com, this is the third youngest team in the league. So, they have a little bit of everything.

But, this is the Super Bowl we are talking about next week. It is way too easy to get distracted and it happens way too often, especially to young guys. Luckily, the Chiefs have a guy in Frank Clark that has been to three Super Bowls now. He's won one and he's lost one.

If anyone knows how to handle the crazy week that is the Super Bowl, it's him.

"Just keep doing the same thing you've been doing, stay focused on the task," Clark told the media. "Just keep doing what you've been doing, don't change anything, don't invite anymore, too many more people. I know it's the Super Bowl, but you know, just try your best to keep everything the same. At least that's what I'm doing. So I think it's imperative that you just stay focused on the task at hand is just playing football.

"We still have a goal, everybody else may not understand that or they may be on party timing, but like the first Super Bowl, what I experienced, you've got family going out, you got friends going out. So, it could have you thinking like, man, am I missing something? You're not missing nothing. You will enjoy it way, way much more after the game when you win."

This team had five rookies play crucial minutes on defense throughout the season, and two on offense. The Chiefs Not even those guys, but the guys who were drafted last season and didn't make it.

And then there are also the guys that came over to Kansas City last season or this season like Justin Reid, who have never had enough success to even make it to the Championship game let alone the Super Bowl.

Making it to the big game is a tradition around here. If they want to make winning it a tradition, Clark's advice is a good place to start.
