2023 is going to be a huge year for the Detroit Lions. After decades of struggling with mediocrity, Dan Campbell and the Lions are on the verge of finally turning it all around.

Last year had a lot to be excited about. Now, the Lions have been able to bolster their roster even further with an excellent free agency period and draft class, so the expectations will grow even more.

Without further ado, here is the full schedule for the Lions in their upcoming season:

Here is the full schedule:

  • Week 1: @ Kansas City Chiefs-September 9
  • Week 2: Seattle Seahawks-September 17
  • Week 3: Atlanta Falcons-September 24
  • Week 4: @ Green Bay Packers-September 28
  • Week 5: Carolina Panthers-October 8
  • Week 6: @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers-October 15
  • Week 7: @ Baltimore Ravens-October 22
  • Week 8: Las Vegas Raiders-October 30
  • Week 9: BYE
  • Week 10: @ L.A. Chargers-November 12
  • Week 11: Chicago Bears-November 19
  • Week 12: Green Bay Packers-November 23
  • Week 13: @ New Orleans Saints-December 3

  • Week 15: Denver Broncos-TBD
  • Week 16: @ Minnesota Vikings-December 24
  • Week 17: @ Dallas Cowboys-December 30
  • Week 18: Minnesota Vikings-TBD

This schedule is essentially exactly what the Lions needed to put themselves in the best position to make a deep run. Between the difficult games against teams like the Chiefs in the first week to easier opportunities against a weaker NFC North, this schedule should provide Detroit chances to prove themselves before the rubber meets the road.
