Should the Raiders explore signing veteran OT Jason Peters?

It's no secret the Las Vegas Raiders are still struggling with some of the same offensive line issues they had last year. Sure, they got better as the year went on, but the offensive line was still a middle-of-the-pack unit.
However, when talking about offensive line play, it's really just one side of the offensive line. The left tackle spot could end up being trouble for the Raiders in 2023. Right now, Jermaine Eluemunor is the starts, with second-year tackle Thayer Munford fighting for the starting spot.
Neither of those guys is really good. In fact, Eluemunor gave up a pretty bad sack against the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday. The left side definitely needs some work. Luckily for the Raiders, there are still some options out there that could be better than Thayer, a 2022 seventh-rounder, and Eluemuno, a guy who has been struggling all training camp.
Raiders should explore Jason Peters.
The Raiders could use a starter at left tackle; however, if they feel confident enough to roll with one of those two guys, they still need some better depth. This is where they look into NFL veterans and now the oldest player in the NFL, Jason Peters.
The former Arkansas Razorback is one of the best undrafted offensive tackles ever. He has somehow made a nearly 2-year career out of not being selected in the draft. He played with Buffalo, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Dallas last season.
Earlier last week, Adam Schefter reported that the nine-time Pro Bowler said he still plans to play this season in what would be his 20th NFL season.
The Raiders should look into him as either a starter or even a depth piece because he still has some juice in the tank.
Not only that, but the Raiders need an experienced guy, especially a guy with some experience like Peters, in that offensive line room. The left side is pretty young. Two second-year players could have starting roles on the left side.
Signing Peters would only help the Raiders. This move wouldn't hurt them but would help them be cautious with protecting Jimmy Garoppolo. And right now, that's what is most important.
