NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans are cutting a training camp roster down to 53 players on Tuesday and have made some critical decisions about the wide receiver room in the process.

With the injuries to Treylon Burks and Kyle Philips, there were a lot of questions about what the Titans might do at wide receiver to begin the season. Managing that group throughout roster cuts required GM Ran Carthon to make some difficult decisions.

But with the team moving on from Racey McMath, Mason Kinsey, Tre'Shaun Harrison, and Reggie Roberson Jr. on Tuesday, we now know which wide receivers have made the Titans' 53-man roster. In total, the Titans are expected to keep seven receivers, but it's possible that Philips could be headed to Injured Reserve before the season begins.

In one of the more notable cut day decisions, former Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver and national champion Kearis Jackson made Tennessee's 53-man roster. Jackson got a lot of work returning both kicks and punts with Philips out in the preseason, and he is an early candidate to handle those responsibilities when the regular season begins.

Local product and 2023 seventh-round draft pick Colton Dowell also made the cut.
