2024 four-star Tennessee Vols commit Kaleb Beasley will go head-to-head with one of UT's top 2025 recruiting targets this week when Lipscomb Academy takes on Brentwood Academy in a game that will have the attention of numerous college coaches.

Brentwood is quarterbacked by 2025 five-star recruit George MacIntyre, the No. 1 player in the state of Tennessee and the No. 2 overall quarterback in the nation.

Beasley, who plays for Lipscomb, joined 104.5 The Zone on Tuesday to discuss the upcoming game and he was asked by host Lucas Panzica if he'll be trying to recruit MacIntyre to Tennessee.

"Yeah, definitely the home state guys I feel like we need to get them to Tennessee," said Beasley. "We've got most of the home state kids to Tennessee I feel like. Bringing another quarterback in, George, that would be great. He's one of the best quarterbacks in the country as y'all know. So I'll definitely be talking to him."

MacIntyre visited Tennessee for the Vols' win against Texas A&M this past Saturday.

Beasley, who committed to UT last October after the Vols' win against Alabama, was also at the Texas A&M game.

"Watching them play A&M, a good team, it was great," said Beasley of his visit to Tennessee this past weekend. "Watching the the defense ball out, that side of the ball — you know, my side, it was fun. The DBs did good. Everybody did good. The front seven did good. So it was just fun going out there and watching them play. And it was packed, the stadium was packed.

Beasley, who plays cornerback, also said it was "dope" to see Gabe Jeudy-Lally and Kamal Hadden come down with interceptions in the win against the Aggies.

There's clearly a lot of elite talent in Tennessee right now and the Vols are making sure most of that talent stays home. It could be a little while before MacIntyre announces his commitment (likely sometime after his junior season is complete), but Beasley is working to make sure the five-star quarterback is wearing orange whenever that announcement is made.
