The Green Bay Packers offense might soon receive a big boost. After missing two games because of a MCL sprain, starting running back Aaron Jones was back at practice on Thursday.

As the Packers only play on Monday, they didn't need to release an initial injury report on Wednesday.

Jones hurt his knee during the game against the Los Angeles Chargers, on November 19. The fear was for a more significant injury, but exams showed a less relevant, week-to-week injury.

The Packers decided not to place Jones on the injured reserve, an indication that Jones would be back before missing four games.

Because of multiple injuries (hamstring and knee), Aaron Jones has missed five of the Packers 12 games this season — and was limited or left early in other five.

It's still unclear if Jones will be ready for Monday night, but his return to practice is obviously a good sign.

Injury issues

As it has been throughout the season, injury negative news has been frequent for the Packers. So even though Jones was back at practice and Jaire Alexander was also on the field, there were some issues.

Wide receiver Christian Watson, who left the Kansas City Chiefs game with a hamstring injury, didn't practice. Linebacker Quay Walker and safety Darnell Savage didn't participe either.

The Packers will release three injury reports this week, but that will happen on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (with the injury designations for Monday).
