The Detroit Lions just won a huge game over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A win that will send them to the NFC Championship game for the time since 1991. It's easy to look at Jared Goff's big night or the defense showing up. The biggest takeaway from me was that man in the middle of the Lions offensive line.

Frank Ragnow is one tough son of b****. That's not the first time we've written that this year. Earlier this season the Lions lost Frank Ragnow for a week when he went to get meniscus surgery. After that surgery he came right back the following week. That's right, Ragnow had knee surgery and then played days later.

On Sunday the Lions played the biggest game in this franchises history and Ragnow hurt his knee in the game when he got rolled up on by Jared Goff on a sack.

I wouldn't blame anyone for going out after that. Any normal man likely would. Ragnow is not normal. He was back on the field for the Lions next drive on offense and didn't leave the field all night. He played this entire game on a bad knee against Vita Vea and he never waivered. Not at any point. That is who Ragnow is. That is what happens when a guy believes in something bigger than himself.

It's not just the knee or the surgery, Ragnow has been on the injury report every single week with a toe injury. The same toe injury that he gutted through all season last year too. The man is in pain and he still goes out there and he still gives it everything he has. There just isn't a lot of players that would do something like this for as long as Ragnow has.

He's the MVP of this game for me. The Lions absolutely needed him out there and he delivered. He 100% deserves to be an All-Pro.

In terms of next week, there's no word on how bad things are on the injury. Campbell did mention that things don't look good for Jonah Jackson and Brock Wright, but did not mention Ragnow in that group. We'll see what happens Wednesday. I would expect a rest day for sure this week. Maybe even two.

Update: Taylor Decker agrees

C.J. Gardner-Johnson throws shade on Baker Mayfield after the game

Detroit Lions safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson traded some words with Bus quarterback Baker Mayfield earlier in the week. Gardner-Johnson said that the Bucs would be better if they had a better quarterback and Mayfield fired back by saying that Gardner-Johnson doesn't watch film.  One of these two was going to have bragging rights at the end […]
