The Los Angeles Rams used their sixth-round pick at No. 196 overall to select Clemson defensive tackle Tyler Davis.
This marks the fourth defensive lineman the Rams have selected in this draft as they clearly are using this opportunity to the fullest to fill the absence of a retired Aaron Donald.
Other defensive linemen the Rams have added throughout the draft are Florida State edge rusher Jared Verse (Round 1, No. 19), Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske (Round 2, No. 39) and Washington State edge rusher Brennan Jackson (Round 5, No. 154).
The 6-foot-1, 304-pounder is expected to fit well within the Rams' 3-4 scheme and will be a big part of defending against the run, though he does not project well as a pass-rusher.
Davis finished out his Clemson career with 155 tackles and 29.5 tackles for a loss. He also had 16 sacks, though he had only a half-sack in 2023. He earned All-ACC honors on four occasions, named to the First Team thrice and the Second Team once.
Here's a look at who the Rams have selected as the draft wraps up for another year:
Round 1, No. 19: Florida State EDGE Jared Verse
Round 2, No. 39: Florida State DT Braden Fiske
Round 3, No. 83: Michigan RB Blake Corum
Round 3, No. 99: Miami S Kamren Kichens
Round 5, No. 154: Washington State EDGE Brennan Jackson
Round 6, No. 196: Clemson DT Tyler Davis
