Colts star Jonathan Taylor has put himself in an elite club by doing something only two Hall of Famers have done more than him

I'm not sure why, but Jonathan Taylor ends up being one of the most undervalued RBs in the NFL year after year. He finished last season with the fourth-most rushing yards in the league with 1,431 yards. Even more impressive, he did so while playing in only 14 games, whereas every player who finished ahead of him had played in at least 16.
For the second time in his five-year NFL career, Taylor averaged at least 100 yards per game with 102.2 yards per game. This feat is something only two players in NFL history have achieved more seasons under their belt, and both players went on to have Hall of Fame careers.
Taylor joins this club with the likes of Cleveland Browns legend Jim Brown and former Colts and Los Angeles Rams legend Eric Dickerson. To put into perspective how impressive Brown and Dickerson's careers were, both averaged at least 100 yards per game in four of their first five seasons. Taylor should certainly be proud of what he's done in his career to date, as he has been one of the best RBs in the NFL when healthy.
He falls outside of many people's top five RB rankings year after year. The main reason for this is that he has only played in more than 12 games in one of the past three years. He proved to everyone last year how great he still is when healthy, though. Hopefully, he can remain healthy in the future so he can prove to the world that he is one of the best RBs in the league. And if he does that, he will finish his career not only as a Colts legend but also as an NFL legend, with the potential to join the Pro Football Hall of Fame just like Brown and Dickerson.
