The Philadelphia Eagles received their Super Bowl LIX ring last week.
However, you won't see Super Bowl MVP quarterback Jalen Hurts rocking his new bling that features over 12 carats of diamonds.
"I’ve moved on to the new year," Hurts told reporters ahead of the Eagles' first training camp practice on Wednesday, July 23. "It’s as simple as that."
Eagles fans should be excited about that response, which subtly hints at Hurts looking ahead to another Super Bowl.
While Hurts won't be repping his championship ring anytime soon, he could not deny how good the unboxing moment felt.
"Almost not nostalgic, but to see something that you've earned, have a moment to appreciate that one last time," Hurts said. "Kind of overdue in terms of what it was supposed to be initially, but it was a moment and that moment's behind us."
Hurts put on an outstanding show during the Super Bowl, throwing for 221 yards and two touchdowns en route to an Eagles' historic 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. This performance came after a regular season where he finished with 2,903 passing yards and 18 touchdowns, adding another 14 scores on the ground.
As the Eagles kick off training camp, their focus is on “sustaining success," and that means moving on from the past.
Hurts clearly understands the assignment and is fully locked in.
Details Behind Eagles' Super Bowl LIX Ring
The Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX ring is a 12-carat stunner, featuring 145 diamonds to symbolize the 145 points they scored in the playoffs. The “WORLD CHAMPIONS” lettering features 40 diamonds and represents the 40 points they put up in the Super Bowl.
It also shows off two Lombardi Trophies to show the team’s two Super Bowl wins under owner Jeffrey Lurie. One carat of marquise-shaped diamonds in the trophies symbolizes the Eagles’ top-ranked total defense and their record-breaking rushing offense.
Additionally, there are 18 green stones in the design to celebrate their 18 total victories in the regular and postseason.
And to top it off, there is a hidden button that reveals wings when you press it and Nick Sirianni's legendary mantra, "You can't be great, without the greatness of others."
The button to open the wings includes five diamonds representing each touchdown scored in the victory.
All rings are also personalized with the player's last name and number.
