Philadelphia Eagles’ final injury report vs Dallas Cowboys offers the reassurance fans have been looking for
Philly looks healthy!
The Philadelphia Eagles released their final injury report ahead of Thursday night’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, and it looks like Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson will play after all.
Dickerson had returned from minor knee surgery this week, and then landed on the injury report with a back issue ahead of Wednesday’s walkthrough.
He was listed as a full participant, which means he should be ready to start on Thursday.
Despite the toughness he brings, Dickerson’s quick return to action is surprising, and it will be intriguing to see if he can play out the entire game for Philly.
Defensive tackle Jalen Carter (Shoulder), safety Andrew Mukuba (Hamstring), and linebacker Joshua Uche (Groin) were also full participants on Wednesday after battling injuries. With Mukuba healthy again, we’ll see if the Eagles give him some reps opposite Reed Blankenship or leave that job to Sydney Brown.
The only Eagles player ruled out for Week 1 is backup quarterback Tanner McKee, who is still nursing a thumb injury on his throwing hand. That means Sam Howell, whom the Eagles recently traded to the Minnesota Vikings for, will suit up as Jalen Hurts’ backup versus Dallas.
As for the Cowboys, the only player they’ve ruled out for Thursday is defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey due to a back issue. Cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee) and offensive tackle Tyler Guyton (knee) are good to go.
