The Chicago Bears are looking ahead to another noon kickoff on Sunday against another one win opponent the team shouldn’t overlook. Chicago will be on the road this weekend taking on the Baltimore Ravens coming out of their bye week.

The major storyline this week will be the status of quarterback Lamar Jackson. The dangerous and dynamic star has been out of action in each of the last two games for the Ravens due to a hamstring injury and his status for Week 8 is still up in the air.

Regardless, the offense in Chicago has its own issues to sort out and will be going up against a talented defense led by former Bears linebacker Roquan Smith and versatile defensive back Kyle Hamilton. It’ll be a big early game to watch with the Bears looking to secure a fifth consecutive victory and the Ravens looking to get their season back on track. Here’s how you can watch.

3 players to watch

  • RB Kyle Monangai: Chicago’s seventh-round rookie posted career-highs all across the board in Week 7 rushing for 81 yards and his first career touchdown. Ben Johnson’s two-back set finally came to fruition and we’ll see if that’s something the offense continues to lean on.
  • C Drew Dalman: The QB-center exchange had a few hiccups in Week 7 but for the most part the team’s starting center has played at a high level this season with a lot being asked out of the position mentally. In the run game, Dalman and the OL will have a big test vs. LB Roquan Smith.
  • CB Kyler Gordon: This is one player the team is glad to have back on the field because he brings a lot to the entire defense. Gordon notched his first sack of the season last week and could be playing some on the outside in Week 8 depending on Tyrique Stevenson’s status.
