The Buffalo Bills got back to their winning ways against the Carolina Panthers, dominating 40-9.

Immediately after the game, offensive lineman Dion Dawkins got into an altercation with Panthers defensive end A’Shawn Robinson. The pair needed to be separated by teammates and staff members. ESPN’s Kimberley Martin shared the video on X and reported that Dawkins was trying to shake hands postgame when the incident occurred.

The now-viral video shows the pair exchanging words before Robinson tore off his helmet and got in the face of Dawkins, and then the pushing contest began. A brief back-and-forth was all it took to set both of these players off.

Dawkins was asked by Martin what caused the incident with the talented offensive lineman pointing to the scoreboard while offering, “40-9.”

Dawkins was quick to give Bills Mafia love

After the contest, Dawkins didn’t bring up the scuffle on social media, instead focusing on the atmosphere inside Bank of America Stadium, complimenting the Bills Mafia for how well they traveled and making it feel like a home game for the Bills.

Robinson has yet to comment on the incident, and it’s unclear whether the league will issue any punishment for those involved in the postgame interaction. Robinson couldn’t have been too pleased with the work that the Panthers’ defensive line put in, with Dawkins and the Bills’ offensive line having their way in the trenches, which allowed running back James Cook to have a career day.

Cook finished his day with 216 yards on 19 carries with two touchdowns. A big reason for his success was the exceptional blocking the offensive line gave him, something Cook credited immediately after the victory.

As a team, Buffalo had more than 400 yards of total offense and forced three turnovers, likely amping up the animosity after the game concluded. These are fierce competitors, and the Bills dominated the Panthers in their own stadium. It’s no wonder Robinson was a little fired up after the game, and you know Dawkins wasn’t going to back down.

Tempers flared, but the scoreboard said it all. Dawkins and the Bills didn’t just win; they owned the line of scrimmage from start to finish.
