The Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears are set to meet for the second time this season with the second game at U.S. Bank Stadium this Sunday.

For the Bears, quarterback Caleb Williams has taken a step forward in his development thanks to head coach Ben Johnson. They come into the game at 6-3, and coming in on a two-game winning streak.

The Vikings are in a different spot at 4-5. They beat the Detroit Lions two weeks ago on the road, but followed it up with a loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon. Head coach Kevin O’Connell has come under fire due to his play calling.

This is a crucial game for the NFC North, as both teams are still in the race. Here’s how you can watch it.

Vikings need to stop Caleb Williams

One of the biggest things the Vikings need to do is stop the Bears’ offense. Head coach Ben Johnson has done a good job of helping Caleb Williams’ development so far this season. Arguably the biggest aspect has been sack avoidance.

Last season, Williams took a whopping 68 sacks, with a 28.2% pressure-to-sack ratio. This year, it’s only 14 sacks and a 12.1% pressure-to-sack ratio. That’s a massive improvement year-over-year. Williams’ superpower is creating outside of structure, and having this club in his bag is a major improvement.

Unfortunately for the Vikings, finishing at the quarterback has been a major weakness for them this year. Jonathan Greenard has somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 theoretical sacks, as quarterbacks continue to escape the grasp of the defense. That could be the key to the game on Sunday.
