The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 28-23 loss to the New England Patriots last weekend didn’t have too much of a viewing range despite being a battle of two division leaders. In fact, it had one of the smallest ranges of all games last weekend.

That’s definitely not the case this week against another playoff contender from the AFC East.

Per 506 Sports, Tampa Bay vs. Buffalo will have the largest viewing range by a country mile for the early CBS window. Ian Eagle and J.J. Watt will be in on the call for CBS.

The game will be shown basically from coast to cast with exceptions for parts of Oregon, California, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida for the Chargers-Jaguars clash, as well as through parts of the Midwest and mid-Atlantic for Bengals-Chargers – a game which would normally get a very wide viewing range.

Bucs and Bills both looking to rebound during a shaky stretch for both teams

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might be at 6-3 and at the top of the NFC South, but they’ve looked anything like a great team in recent weeks. Todd Bowles detailed this week how his team comes up short from being a great team, and his answer was daily preparation and consistency in execution.

But it’s also about getting healthy, as a number of crucial injuries, particularly on the offensive side of the ball, have hamstrung a normally explosive offense. The absence of Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) has loomed large, as the run game has lacked chunk plays on the ground and in the short passing/screen game, areas where Irving excels. There’s hope for a return soon, as he returned to practice in a limited fashion on Wednesday, but Sunday might be a tad bit optimistic.

The Bills have lost of their last five games, including double digits losses against the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins. However, they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Buffalo two weeks ago 28-21, so the potential is still there.

Buffalo, like the Bucs, has struggled to hit on big plays, particularly in the passing game. The Bucs accommodated the Patriots’ offense in that category last weekend, allowing three long scores and another big play to Mack Hollins to get to goal to go. If Tampa Bay’s defense hasn’t tightened things up, it could be a get right game for the Buffalo offense.

The Bucs and Bills get underway on Sunday at 1:00 pm ET from Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY.
