The Chicago Bears improved to 7-3 last week with another close win over the Minnesota Vikings and in the process took over the NFC North lead entering Week 12.

The schedule will only get harder from here on out for the Bears and the team is keeping one foot in front of the other when it comes to envisioning a potential playoff berth in the first season under new head coach Ben Johnson.

The goal in Chicago remains the same. The Bears are looking to develop a killer mindset when it comes to putting away games and ideally avoiding all of these late-game comeback wins. All of the pieces are there, it’s just a matter of putting them together. Chicago will have a chance to do just that on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers back at Soldier Field and here’s how you can watch.

Chicago will be on Aaron Rodgers watch going into Sunday’s game

The major storyline going into Sunday’s game is the health and availability of Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers suffered a left wrist injury in last Sunday’s game, tests revealed on Monday that surgery would not be required, giving Rodgers a chance to push to play.

Rodgers has a deep history against the Bears going back to his time with the Green Bay Packers, holding a 24-5 head-to-head record against Chicago. In potentially his last matchup against his bitter rival, the consensus in Chicago shows that fans actually want Rodgers to play to hopefully send him packing out of Soldier Field with a loss for the final time.

While it’d be nice to face a backup quarterback, either Mason Rudolph or rookie Will Howard, the Bears would like to face the top competition possible in order to prove themselves as a legitimate playoff contender in the NFC. And it’d be awesome to see Rodgers finally go toe-to-toe against Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, who grew up idolizing Rodgers.
