This Thanksgiving, there isn’t a whole lot to be thankful for with the Cleveland Browns during the current season. Cleveland’s rookie class is the biggest bright spot on a team that sits at 3-8.

The Browns aren’t a playoff team this year, even with their elite defense, because of how limited they are on offense. Cleveland still needs a franchise quarterback, but they also need more playmakers and a reshaped offensive line. Here’s a three-round Thanksgiving Day mock draft to help fix the Browns.

Round 1, Pick 6: WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State

If the Browns win another game or two, it’s likely going to take a trade-up to land a quarterback worthy of a first-round pick. In this mock, I’m leaving trades off the table and keeping the Browns at No. 6 to fill a key need. The medicals are a concern with Tyson, but he’s clearly the WR1 in the draft and a player who can win at all three levels. Tyson has the upside to become an instant top option for the Browns on the outside. Cleveland badly needs to improve its passing game, and that starts with upgrading the pass-catching group.

Round 1, Pick 22: OT Caleb Lomu, Utah

Lomu may be the best tackle in a draft class that’s thin on high-end talent at the position. Dawand Jones hasn’t been able to stay healthy, and when he has, he hasn’t shown he can be the long-term answer at tackle. Jack Conklin isn’t getting any younger and also comes with a significant injury history. The Browns land a Day 1 starter to plug into their offensive line.

Round 2, Pick 38: OL Gennings Dunker, Iowa

There’s a chance Dunker ends up at guard, and that’s fine because the Browns will need to get younger there soon. Dunker is a nasty run blocker and a capable pass protector who has been very good at tackle for Iowa this season. Cleveland must invest real resources into improving the offensive line, and that may include spending multiple early picks on the unit.

Round 3, Pick 70: QB Brendan Sorsby, Cincinnati

Just like in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Browns take a developmental quarterback because of how the board fell. Sorsby is having a standout year at Cincinnati and has a big arm, though he needs to become more consistent. Cleveland hopes to strike lightning in a bottle here; if not, the can gets kicked down the road another year at the position.
