CBS Sports thinks the answer is no, predicting that Tennessee will be one of the first teams left out of the AP Top 25 poll when it’s released later on Sunday.
On3 has more optimism for the Vols. They predict that Tennessee will be ranked at No. 23 in the new AP Top 25 poll.
Sports Illustrated also predicts that Tennessee will land at No. 23 in this week’s top 25.
The Vols have finished the season ranked in the top 25 in every season under Josh Heupel since 2021. Tennessee will likely need to win its bowl game to extend that streak this season.
