The Minnesota Vikings and Washington Commanders are set to do battle on Sunday afternoon. It’s a game that we believed would be crucial for our playoff position. Unfortunately, it’s going to be for NFL Draft position instead.

We are set to see both quarterbacks in J.J. McCarthy and Jayden Daniels, returning from their injuries to get the start, but will they be surrounded by the necessary talent?

The final injury report is out, and it gives us a nice synopsis of what to expect on Sunday.

Observations

  • McCarthy will get the start on Sunday after clearing concussion protocol. He has five games to show the Vikings what he can do and potentially be a long-term starter.
  • Rodriguez and Jackson are the only players who are ruled out on Sunday due to injury. That means we could be seeing more Elijah Williams and Jay Ward.
  • Chandler continued practicing for a third consecutive day. He’s listed as questionable, and it could come down to whether or not the Vikings want him to play.

Observations

  • The headliner here is Daniels. He enters the game with no designation and will start against the Vikings.
  • Wagner didn’t participate in practice until Friday, and he will go into the game with a questionable designation.
