The Philadelphia Eagles, for their flaws this season, are set up in a good spot to push for more hardware. They need more consistency from their offense if they want to reach that peak, and quarterback Jalen Hurts has proven he can perform in postseason play year after year.

With plenty of pressure on him and the Eagles offensive unit under OC Kevin Patullo, Hurts isn’t shying away from any of it. Instead, he’s embracing it all.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is eyeing another Super Bowl run with unique mindset

With another long postseason push in sight, the Eagles quarterback answered a question this week with an answer that many people on social media are lauding over. When asked about his impressive playoff performances and another Super Bowl run in the works, Hurts simply said, “Some things are in you… If you don’t have that mentality, then you are not in the right place.”

Hurts’ postseason output can’t really be overstated nor mistaken. Especially in recent matchups, he’s been dominant and decisive. He has a passer rating of 90 or higher in his last six playoff games.

Hurts can join legendary QB Joe Montana (9), veteran QB Joe Flacco (8), and current Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers (8) as the only players in NFL history with a passer rating of 90 or above in seven consecutive playoff games during this run.

According to O.J. Spivey, Hurts is also the only QB in NFL history with at least ten rushing touchdowns and ten TD passes in the postseason. That portion of his game has been used a bit more often in recent weeks, compared to early in the season. It would make plenty of sense to get Hurts’ mobility aspect going against the 49ers. San Fran has lost a handful of linebackers to injury this season, including All-Pro LB Fred Warner.

Former Eagles offensive lineman and future Hall of Fame center Jason Kelce isn’t doubting the Eagles quarterback, either. He praised Hurts’ composure when it means the most for his team. No moment is too big for the QB, according to Kelce.

We will see if Hurts can back up his captivating statement ahead of this postseason run for Philly. The Eagles are looking to win their second Super Bowl in a row, and Hurts is eyeing another Super Bowl MVP award – even if he would never say that out loud.
