The Ohio State Buckeyes will be well represented in the Super Bowl, which takes place in just under two weeks.

It’ll be the Seattle Seahawks playing the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8. Four total former Buckeyes will be involved in the big game.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba leads the way for former Buckeyes in the Super Bowl

The NFL’s top wideout for the 2025 season has been former Buckeye Jaxon Smith-Njigba and he kept that up with 10 catches for 153 receiving yards and a touchdown in a win over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship.

Smith-Njigba will face three former Buckeyes with the Patriots, including head coach Mike Vrabel, RB TreVeyon Henderson, and OL Thayer Munford Jr. It will be the first Super Bowl appearance for any of them, and it means Henderson is going to the big game during his rookie season in the NFL.

Vrabel reaching the Super Bowl in his first season as the head coach of the Patriots is impressive after they won just four games last year. The former Titans head coach took a year off from coaching and is at the top of the game in his first year back on the sidelines in New England.

Smith-Njigba is the start of the group as the All-Pro after recording 1,793 receiving yards in 17 games. Henderson had a strong rookie season himself with 911 rushing yards and 10 total touchdowns while sharing the backfield with Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson.

It’s no surprise that the Buckeyes will be represented in the Super Bowl with the clip that they put players and even coaches into the NFL. No matter who wins the Super Bowl, a former Buckeye will be involved.
