Los Angeles Rams load up for another Super Bowl run, add weapons around Matthew Stafford in latest 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft
Latest 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft gifts the Los Angeles Rams another shot at winning a Super Bowl.
The Los Angeles Rams were one of the best teams in the NFL this season, but unfortunately, the Seattle Seahawks ended their playoff run in the NFC Championship Game. With head coach Sean McVay and quarterback Matthew Stafford still in place, this is a team that still has a championship window in front of them, at least for the short term. With Stafford getting older, however, there is a very real question about how long that window will stay open.
The 2026 NFL Draft will offer some options for this team to make another run heading into the 2026 NFL season. In my latest 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft, I opted to add as much talent around Stafford as possible. From there, it was about filling the most pressing holes on the roster. Both were accomplished in a big way.
Round 1, Pick 13: Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami
Right tackle is a spot that needs some attention for the long-term future of the Rams. While one could argue that Mauigoa might be best inside at guard, he has earned the right to get a shot at right tackle. His physicality, raw power, and technical prowess should offer a very strong floor for the former Miami star.
Round 1, Pick 29: KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M
With a Super Bowl push hopefully in the Rams’ future, loading up with as many weapons as possible for Stafford would be ideal. Concepcion, who began his career at NC State, is lightning in a bottle after the catch. He is the type of wide receiver who feels like the perfect fit in the McVay offense.
Round 2, Pick 61: D’Angelo Ponds, CB, Indiana
Some will dock Ponds for his size, but his combination of speed, intelligence, and physicality will allow him to punch about his weight class. While nickel is most likely his long-term home, the Rams have also shown their willingness to play smaller cornerbacks outside. That offers Ponds some options.
Round 3, Pick 93: Julian Neal, CB, Arkansas
The Fresno State transfer went from an intriguing transfer portal pickup to a legitimate Top-100 selection in just one season with the Razorbacks. Neal boasts a long frame and intriguing movement skills, which could eventually help him develop into a starter for the Rams.
Round 5, Pick 167: John Michael Gyllenborg, TE, Wyoming
Long, explosive, and agile, Gyllenborg still has a ton of upside worth being excited about. After an injury-riddled 2025 season, it feels like he has become a bit undervalued in this class. When healthy, he has the talent to eventually become a contributor as a vertical weapon.
Round 6, Pick 206: Lander Barton, LB, Utah
Barton had a down year in 2025, but he still has the size and versatility to become a rosterable linebacker on the next level. If his explosiveness ever comes back, he could also end up being a massive value at this spot in the draft.
Round 6, Pick 209: Cole Wisniewski, S, Texas Tech
At around 6-4 and 220 pounds, the former North Dakota State All-American is an extremely intriguing hybrid defender for the NFL level. He has the ability to play in sub, become a special teams standout, or eventually develop into a linebacker in the future.
Round 7, Pick 232: Connor Tollison, IOL, Missouri
Tollison’s 2024 film was quite good, but 2025 was extremely underwhelming while coming off an injury. He is still an intriguing athlete on the interior who feels like a good fit in Sean McVay’s offense.
Round 7, Pick 250: Jamal Haynes, RB, Georgia Tech
The 2025 season didn’t go the way that Haynes hoped, but he is still a very talented runner. With so much quickness, explosiveness, and receiving upside, he has the ability to become a solid change-of-pace option on the next level.
Round 7, Pick 255: Deven Eastern, DT, Minnesota
Eastern brings a big frame with some developmental potential to continue tapping into. While he shouldn’t be depended on much as a rookie, the long-term potential could be there.
