Jaguars 3 Round NFL Mock Draft: Getting Trevor Lawrence some better protection, and adding a defensive and offensive playmaker
The Jaguars could use a draft like this one.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have built a strong foundation for future success. They’ve found their head coach of the future, and nearly won a playoff game against the Buffalo Bills in year one.
Now, that doesn’t mean it’s only up from here. To maintain their upward trajectory, the Jaguars must focus on smart draft selections, address positional needs, and ensure player development. With that in mind, we put together a mock draft for the 2026 NFL Draft to get the Jaguars as close to perfect as possible through the first three rounds.
The Jaguars do not hold a first-round selection, but do possess picks in the second, third, and fourth rounds. These rounds present opportunities to add productive rookie contributors, provided the right decisions are made. All four prospects identified in this mock draft address team needs and are capable of contributing in their first season.
Jaguars 3-Round 2026 NFL Mock Draft
Round 2, Pick 56: Connor Lew, Auburn Tigers C
Lew was one of the best interior linemen in the entire country last season. However, his season was cut short due to a torn ACL. This shouldn’t actually hinder his ability to play, but it will definitely knock his stock down a bit. Nonetheless, Lew has the tools to be an NFL starter pretty much right away. Now, that’s assuming he recovers well and is the same player. As a sophomore in 2024, he surrendered just one sack and nine pressures in 442 pass blocking snaps. He can also be very effective in the run game.
Round 3, Pick 81: Zakee Wheatley, Penn State Nittany Lions S
Wheatley has an NFL safety body and all the physiques that come with that. He’s got 4.4 speed and the ability to fly around the field making plays. However, it’s some of the things you think he would be good at that need work. He’s not the best tackler in terms of always using great technique. He’s not great in press, but that can always change. Wheatley is a very good processor of the game and has strong skills in the air, with five career interceptions.
Round 3, Pick 88: Chase Bisontis, Texas A&M Aggies OG
There’s a chance that Bisontis isn’t available here, but then again, this is the draft, and really anything can happen. Bisontis is one of the best run blockers in the draft, and has some pretty good tools to refine his pass blocking. Bisontis loves getting up on that second level, though. He’s got great athleticism for his size, good hip flexibility, and is a great finisher. Jacksonville needs a bit of help on the offensive line, and Bisontis could end up being a huge steal here.
Round 3, Pick 100: Antonio Williams, Clemson Tigers WR
After what happened last season—the Jaguars having almost no wide receivers at one point—it’s clear they need to get at least one in the draft. While doing my mock draft, I noticed that Williams was still on the board at pick No. 100. There’s a chance he’s a late second, early first type of WR, but if he falls for some reason, Jacksonville cannot pass on him. He’s got great route-running ability to create separation, and amazing hands, where he doesn’t drop the ball often. Williams also had great playmaking ability after the catch. However, he doesn’t have great size for the NFL level, and if he hasn’t put it on now, he may never. But he can be a very good player, and actually reminds me a bit of Jakobi Meyers.
