There are no streets with the Cleveland Browns regarding where they have to get better, it’s the offense spiritually where they must make major changes.

Cleveland had the makings of an elite defense in 2025, but they still finished with a 5-12 record because of how bad the offense was. The Browns’ offense is going to look a whole lot different next year, especially on the offensive line where all five players are due to be free agents.

NFL insider connects the Browns to an important free agent

Cleveland has been a team mentioned to watch for Green Bay Packers’ impending free agent LT Rasheed Walker. Walker is set to be a free agent after spending his first four NFL seasons with the Buckeyes.

“One team I’m told to keep an eye on: the Cleveland Browns, who have a lot of offensive line needs,” Cameron Wolfe stated. “They’ve expressed interest potentially in Walker.”

Walker has been a full-time starter for the last three seasons in Green Bay. The notable thing right off the bat is that Walker’s been healthy for all 51 games the last three seasons. Pro Football Focus graded Walker as a 64.6 for the 2025 season along with a 70 pass blocking grade. Walker allowed five sacks and 34 pressures in 572 pass blocking snaps during the 2025 season.

Cleveland traded for Cam Robinson early in 2025 and he played in 13 games for the Browns at left tackle following an injury to Dawand Jones. Jones is the only returning option to start for the Browns at left tackle, but the team can’t depend on him after injuries over the last three seasons.

The Browns are going to have to spend a nice chunk to get Walker, somewhere in the area if $20 million a season. For a team looking to fully rebuild its offensive line, it may be the play the Browns need to make.
