The Detroit Lions’ top-30 visits and local visits are starting to rack up a little bit more with just over two weeks left until the 2026 NFL Draft. A new visit has come down the pike on Tuesday.
The Lions have a visit set up with Cincinnati defensive tackle Jalen Hunt
Hunt had a big season in 2025 next to Dontay Corleone. A guy we think the Lions should also be interested in. Hunt put up 22 pressures, 4 sacks, and 6.5 tackles for loss. Pro Football Focus had him graded out at 86.7 as a run stuffer. Right up the Lions’ alley in the middle.
On top of that, he has shown himself to be a very athletic big man, running a 4.99 at his pro day and putting up a 97.3 athletic composite score. With the exception of Uar Bernard, this would have made Hunt the most athletic interior defensive lineman at the NFL Combine had he been there.

Hunt is not expected to be drafted at this juncture. So this could either be the Lions looking to grab a guy in the late rounds or as a priority undrafted free agent after the draft. With athleticism like this, you can see how Detroit would maybe want to build with him.
Hunt previously played for Michigan State and is a Belleville, Michigan native. So he’d be getting a chance with his hometown team if he winds up with Detroit.
