Raiders met with a potential Day 3 CB who has some impressive potential, but a ‘bright red flag’ seems to be tanking some of his stock

The Las Vegas Raiders do need a cornerback in the 2026 NFL Draft, and the former Florida Gators CB Devin Moore could be a steal in the fourth round.

The Las Vegas Raiders are trying to get as many pre-draft visits in as they can before Thursday, when those have to be finalized. On Tuesday, we found out a few more prospects they have met with.

Raiders meet with CB Devin Moore

According to Levi Dombro of Just Blog Baby, the Raiders met with former Florida Gators cornerback Devin Moore. The type of visit it was has not yet been clarified. Moore is a projected Day 3 player in this draft class, but that’s not because of his ability. Moore is a very good football player and has some pretty impressive potential. However, as Dane Brugler of The Athletic described, he has a ‘bright red flag.’

Moore is injury-prone, as he missed over 40% of his career games at Florida. That’s not great, especially when you play the position he plays, which will be making tackles and being physical.

The Raiders currently have Eric Stokes and Darien Porter as their two outside starters at the position. We’re not sure what Porter is, and the Raiders may want to have a backup plan ready in case Porter develops more than they initially thought. Moore shows nice patience and foot quickness to match up with different types of route runners, but, once again, needs some development, given only 17 starts. Brugler has Moore as a fourth-round player, and the Raiders have three fourth-round picks.

I spoke to A to Z Florida’s Tyler Forness to get a better feel for Moore, and here is what he had to say:

“Devin Moore is a fascinating player to parse out. He’s tall and long at 6-3 and 198 pounds, with plus ability in man and zone coverage and against the run. He also tested plenty well enough to thrive on the outside. He was the only cornerback this past season to have a PFF grade of 80+ in both coverage and against the run. The key will be to keep him healthy, something that has been an issue for him. He would be a good selection in round three/four.”
